The rug depicts a scene of two lovers sharing a moment surrounded by birds and animals in the wilderness. Birds, rabbits, wild cats and deer can be seen all along the edges of the handwoven rug along with the floral patterns. The artist leaves no space on the rug void or untouched by his craft. The lovers are shown dressed in traditional Asian garments. A decorative vase can be seen in the four corners around the lovers.
